Our Mission
Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation

Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation provides resources to assure our community the ability to live life to the fullest.

The Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital Foundation was created in 1979 when a former patient left a major bequest to the hospital and a group of community leaders came together with a vision for enhancing our community hospital. As the Foundation evolved over the years, so did our mission. Today we are focusing our energies on meeting the broader health-related needs of Auburn and surrounding foothill communities.

Some of the projects funded and programs initiated by the Foundation include:

  • Cancer Support Group - meets weekly to address specific needs of patients and their caregivers as they are challenged with this difficult disease.
  • Lifeline - A program that provides special telephone equipment and emergency monitoring to seniors and people with chronic illnesses.
  • Hospital Capital projects
    • Women's Imaging Center that provides digital mammography and bone density testing
    • Emergency Department remodel
    • Ambulatory Surgery expansion
    • Infusion Therapy Center
    • Wound and Ostomy Care Center

While Sutter Auburn Faith Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, we are a separately incorporated, community benefit non-profit organization guided by a group of dedicated community leaders who serve without compensation. Our administrative expenses are paid by Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, which allows nearly all donations to go directly to program funding.
